Pittsburgh, PA- The National Association of EMS Educators is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Joann Freel has been selected to attend the ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership Five-Star Weekend, October 14-17, 2010.

The Five-Star Weekend is only for association CEO’s and is designed to allow participants to network learn and discuss critical issues facing associations today. This year's Thought Leader is Wall Street Journal/NBC News Pollster and public policy expert Peter Hart who will address the mood of the country and how politics will impact associations.

Five-Star Weekend began several years ago and continues today as a fundraiser for the Associations Advance America Fund (AAA) and the ASAE Foundation. The AAA Fund directly supports ASAE's work in building coalitions, grassroots networking, lobbying, and continuing to build on the important work of the Power of a Campaign. The ASAE Foundation advances association and nonprofit leadership through research, innovation and leadership programs that develop the next generation of leaders.

“I am thrilled to be invited to this informative and important event for association executive directors,” said Freel. Mrs. Freel has been the Executive Director of NAEMSE for 15 years and a member of the American Society for Association Executives and the Pennsylvania Society for Association Executives. She has held positions within each association as a Board of Director and Advisory Small Staff Taskforce member.
