ATTENTION MEMBERS
As part of continuing efforts to increase support for the recently introduced Field EMS legislation, the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) posted a legislative action alert on their website for H.R. 3144, the Field EMS Quality, Innovation, Cost-Effectiveness Improvement Act.  

Through this alert, Advocates for EMS Supporters can utilize CAPWIZ to generate a support letter for the legislation and directly contact their Member of Congress.

All you have to do is follow this link http://capwiz.com/naemt/issues/alert/?alertid=57496501, which takes you to NAEMT's alert for HR.3144. From there, once you enter your ZIP code, you will be directed to a page that generates a support letter. You then enter you contact information, and the letter will be automatically sent to your representative.

As you know, direct contact by constituents with their Member of Congress is critical to our efforts in building a broad-base of legislative support.

Dear NAEMSE Member,

I'm sure you are aware of the vital role that the National Association of EMS Educators play in all aspects of EMS national and international education. NAEMSE provides educational programs for the new EMS educator teaching his or her first group of students to the experienced educator who attends symposium each year to bring back new and exciting teaching techniques to the classroom.

The important work of EMS Education accomplished by NAEMSE can be supported by  generous donors who contribute to our first EMS Scholarship campaign. This year why don't you make a Christmas tax deductible contribution to the NAEMSE EMS scholarship fund which will support the continuation of providing much needed EMS Educational services to those educators both nationally and internationally who are in need of assistance. With donations like yours NAEMSE will continue to strive forward to provide education that leads to good patient outcomes in the pre-hospital arena.  In 2011, NAEMSE was able to grant 17  scholarships worth approximately $7,000 and  our goal is to be able to grant 20 scholarships for 2012.

To help reach our goal you can contribute via a check  made payable to  The National Association of EMS Educators and in the memo section indicate scholarship donation.
