PARAMEDIC INSTRUCTOR
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is seeking a Paramedic (Advanced EMS) Instructor.  The primary responsibility of this position will be in the paramedic program; hospital based clinical, practical skills lab and lecture with additional opportunities to include, advanced cardiac life support courses, pediatric advanced life support, paramedic continuing education courses, trauma life support courses and instruction in EMS programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, EMS, Nursing, Biology or other health-related science; current certification by the National Registry of EMT’s as a Paramedic and licensed by the state of Wisconsin as a Paramedic; if a Registered Nurse or Physician’s Assistant, must have had at least two years of hospital emergency department experience; current certification as AHA, BLS and ACLS instructor; current national certification as Critical Care Paramedic;  minimum of two years of pre-hospital experience, including critical care transport.

SALARY:  Based on a 180-day, full-time obligation, $49,072 - $73,518 based on education and experience.

START DATE:  August 2009/January 2010 depending on candidate availability.
