NAEMSE & CoAEMSP PARTNER TO PROVIDE ACCREDITATION WORKSHOP!

Are you preparing for accreditation? Have you asked yourself what is the first step that I take towards the accreditation process? Will anyone be able to guide me through the process? The answers are YES!

NAEMSE and CoAEMSP have developed a new day and a half workshop that will provide you with personal assistance from trained EMS educators who have gone through the accreditation process and who are site visitors for CoAEMSP. This workshop is dedicated to providing you valuable information to guide you through the entire accreditation process at a reasonable cost. ADVOCATES FOR EMS NEWS!

In the coming weeks and months there will be a great deal of information released on health care reform. Pete Stark, Chairman of the Ways & Means Subcommittee on Health, released a document hat highlights his agenda and principles are for health care reform in the 111th Congress. Below is a link that current Energy & Commerce Committee Chairman, John Dingell, sent to President-Elect Obama on his health care priorities for the 111th Congress. Latest news is that Congressman Henry Waxman is challenging Mr. Dingell to become chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

NOTE OF CONGRATULATIONS!

The NAEMSE 13th Annual Educational Symposium and Trade show in St. Louis, MO was a success! We had 634 attendees who chose from 35 educational session, and 10 pre/post conferences. The attendees came from across the nation as well as from 4 other countries. Results are that we were financially successful and the monies will support other educational programs that NAEMSE is providing. A big THANK YOU to the 2008 Program Committee, the St. Louis EMS Educators, and NAEMSE Corporate Partners we couldn't have done it without you!
