EMS Classroom Resources
Here are a variety of valuable resources that you might find helpful when organizing or conducting an EMS program. Unless otherwise noted, all of the following files are in a Microsoft Word format to allow for easy modification.

Le Baudour's Resources

  • Student Statement of Commitment (Santa Rosa Junior College)
This is the "contract" that we have each student sign and agree to during the first week of class. Unfortunately this is only in a .pdf format at this time. I will try and convert it to a word doc soon. In any case feel free to take this material and modify for your purposes.

  • Class Leader Job Description
This is the working draft of the expectations I have for our Class Leader. This is a work in progress but is about 80% complete as I see it.

  • Squad Leader Job Description
This is the expectations that I have for each of the 6 squad leaders. I have used this for 4 semesters now and it seems fairly complete.

  • Squad Member Information Sheet
This is a form that is competed by each squad member and maintained by the Squad Leader in the Squad Binder.

  • Field/Clinical Essay Guidelines
These are the instructions I give to students prior to completing their academic essay pertaining to their field/clinical experience.

  • Sample Trauma Assessment Skill Sheet
This skill sheet is designed as a learning tool for the student. This was developed to assist the student in learning and passing the NREMT skill. This is in a Word document. Please feel free to modify this to suit your needs.

  • Sample Medical Assessment Skill Sheet
This is the medical assessment skill sheet designed as a learning tool for the student. This is a .pdf file and will be added later as a Word document. Please feel free to modify this to suit your needs.
